The Military Nurses Association of Canada was represented at the Ottawa Commemorative Ceremony for the Merchant Navy Veterans Day by the Ottawa Unit President, Colonel Gisèle Fontaine, MStJ, MSC, CD. This year’s ceremony recognized a shared maritime heritage – from the Voyageurs who carried people, goods, knowledge, and culture across North America’s waterways, to the Canadian and Allied Merchant Navy, the American Merchant Marine, and today’s global maritime community.
